- The patch field in Class E Cat.6 meets the 10” standard for rack installation in a corresponding network cabinet and acts as a central connection point for your network cables
- A closed metal housing including central grounding connection provide shielding for the 8-port patch panel and LSA rails for mounting the network installation cables
- The patch panel is designed for 250 MHz / 1GBASE-T and also works with cables and devices in category Cat.5e and Cat.5 thanks to backwards compatibility
- Patching in accordance with EIA/TIA 568 A & B (LSA rails color-coded accordingly) - Suitable for network cables with AWG 22-26 (solid and stranded conductors)
- Plug cycles of jack: > 750 - Tensile loading RJ45: 7.7 kg - Dielectric strength: 1000 VDC (contact/contact), 1500 VDC (contact/ground) - Insulation resistance: > 500 MΩ - Contact resistance: < 20 mΩ

The CAT 6 Patch Panels for 254 mm (10") rack mount from DIGITUS® are manufactured with Link Performance Class E, for up to 250 MHz, ISO/IEC 11801 and EN 50173. Cable installation takes place via LSA strips which are color coded acc. EIA/TIA 568B. The housing consists of galvanized, cold-rolled steel, acc. EN1.4301, UNS S30400, AISI 304 and LMSAD110.
